Great post.This is not a zero sum game. We can be worthwhile stewards of our planet while still progressing as a civilization.
In fact, as I have repeatedly argued in Risk & Progress (https://www.lianeon.org/) they must come together. Without human progress, the light of consciousness and life itself will eventually burn out.

I like the idea -- who doesn’t like win-win (or in the words of The Office, win-win-win) solutions?
